BANMUN

In 1999, the founder president of United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), Dr. Syed Saikh Imtiaz had the idea of spreading the culture of Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Bangladesh jointly with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. That initiative saw the light in 2002, when the first ever Bangladesh Model United Nations conference was organized by UNYSAB. We organize the conference with a view to promoting the idea of MUN among the students from different institutions of Bangladesh.
