Md. Jahidul Islam brings a unique combination of educational background, experience, and passion to the role. With a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, he has an in-depth understanding of social science and a keen interest in global issues. His dedication to personal development and continuous learning has led him to pursue further studies in social sciences, with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of societal problems and potential solutions.
Throughout his academic and professional career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills. He has successfully organized and participated in events at both the national and international levels, and his ability to effectively communicate and lead teams has been widely recognized. His keen interest in world politics and geopolitical issues, along with his general knowledge and analytical skills, will be an asset in his role as President of UNYSAB.

Shadman Taher Arnob is a student aspiring to make a better life for himself and others around him. He’s studying International Relations in the University Of Dhaka. He’s a tech and travel enthusiast, who is eagerly interested to learn about different perspectives of people. His fascination lies the most in the future of technology and he hopes to integrate them the most in his future career. He seeks engagement and interaction. He believes his main strength is in identifying the attributes of different generations and formulating plans in consideration of both. The main attributes he attaches with himself are active, eager and understanding.

Akib has been working at the United Nations Youth and Student’s Association of Bangladesh since 2018. He started as an Associate Member and is currently working as an Assistant Secretary of Finance at UNYSAB, which is the largest volunteer organization in Bangladesh. Working there has provided him with the biggest scope for developing his skills, communication, networking, and personal growth. He has realized the effect and role of UNYSAB in his life in terms of his development, growth, and other skills. Initially, he was responsible for organizing events for UNYSAB, but now he conducts the Finance Segment. Through his years of work, he has learned a lot, gained many networks, and successfully organized multiple events, which has helped him develop himself day by day. He is always grateful to the organization and its amazing members who have helped him learn, build, and utilize himself. In addition to UNYSAB, he has worked in two different NGOs in various departments. He worked as a Communication Officer in Humanitarian Aid and as an Accountant in the Center for Men and Masculinities Studies (CMMS). Currently, he is working at The Procurement Department of BAT Bangladesh as a Procurement Officer – Directs. Here, he is gaining broad experience in corporate life, which will help him to grow his career.

Mohammad Eannobi started his journey with UNYSAB in 2018. Since then, he has been an active member, even though he was an executive member from 2020 to 2021, and is currently acting as the Vice President of UNYSAB. Eannobi believes in peace, equality, empathy, and love. Additionally, he holds the view that we can improve our lives if we cooperate with passion and gratitude. According to Eannobi, we must confidently fight for things we believe in. Eannobi has completed his Master’s degree in English, with a major in ELT. He has worked as an organizer and participator in several events, programs, national and international conferences including Daffodil English Olympiad, BANMUN-18, Eid for Street Children, Global Youth Summit, and so on. He gained a lot of leadership and volunteerism knowledge from UNYSAB. He aspires to increase the value of his life by contributing more to society and reducing pollution as much as he can. He believes that UNYSAB is merely a hipper version of the United Nations. UNYSAB represents what the youth of the globe thinks and how they react to what is happening in the world around us. That is the young people’s heartbeat.

Mehjaben Akther had joined UNYSAB, a dedicated volunteer since August 2018, and currently serving as an Organizing Secretary. She is majoring in Human Resource Manager at United International University She is an ambitious business person who puts efforts to engage with more people every day. She is an enthusiastic entrepreneur of her page MELTED, which provides delicious food. She is a talented makeup artist, and cooking is one of her interests. Apart from it, she is a great communicator and this quality gave her a chance to work on projects with UNFPA for Women Help Desk (WHD) twice. She has organized different events like Freshers’ Reception, BANMUN 2019, and Eid For Street Children, National Youth Summit etc. She wants to work with new people every day as part of her hobby, which is also essential for her career development. It allows her to consider various viewpoints that she can utilize to better herself and improve her activities. Her goal is to make the Earth a better place to live in and protect future generations. UNYSAB is the place where youth can join for personal betterment.

Amena Rashid is a 23 year old young citizen of Bangladesh. A bookworm, dendrophile and music lover person, who is dedicated in participating and organizing various events like Debates, MUNs, National and International Summits Fellowship Programmes; since the very beginning. Also being an undergraduate student of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, she is equally adept at procrastinating and pursuing her passion for research work and writing about whatever that piques her interest while her dream is to assist to develop the world to make a better place.

Rakasmo Ahmmed is currently a student at the Department of LAW, at North South University. He has completed his SSC from Monipur High School and his HSC from Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College, Dhaka Cantonment. He is from Narayanpur, Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. He joined UNYSAB in the 12th Batch. He is Currently Appointed as “Assistant Research and Development Secretary”. From an early age, he devoted himself to social work. He has worked with many national and international organizations. He was a Child Journalist at UNICEF Bangladesh and BD News 24.com joint program ‘HELLO’. He was awarded many times for his various extracurricular activities (Social Work, Debate, MUN, Story Writing, Poem recitation, etc.). He was awarded by Bangladesh Shishu Academy for his story writing. In this short span, he tried his best to do something for the backward society of our nation. In the future, he is eyeing to do all of his work on a large scale and planning to do something for the betterment of the whole of Bangladesh.

Nusrat Tayba Mim joined UNYSAB in February 2020, since then she has been working as a dedicated volunteer and currently serving as an Assistant Research and Development Secretary. She has completed her graduation in Law and Human Rights from the University of Asia Pacific. She is a hardworking and ambitious individual with a great passion for the research and legal arena. She has been involved in other clubs and organizations, but joining UNYSAB was her turning point in life till now. She acquired outstanding interpersonal skills from UNYSAB that allows her to work efficiently. She has an interest in researching socio-legal issues and till now few of her writings have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines. She aspires to create an inclusive and violence-free society in which the dignity we possess will be recognized simply by virtue of being human.

Noor Nahar Shukanna joined UNYSAB as a fresher in 2019. She is currently majoring in International Relations at the University of Dhaka. She has a passion for volunteering and diligently worked as an Assistant Secretary (Communications) for UNYSAB from 2020-2022. Apart from that, she currently leads the Hult Prize Research Team of her campus. She also works as the General Secretary of Peace Cafè, University of Dhaka. Her research interests grew during her sophomore year and till now, she has assisted in four research projects under three professors. Her area of interest includes gender, geopolitics, migration, and diplomacy. Shukanna also worked on some projects under EU and UN Women. She participated in workshops and courses of UNDP, UN Women, UNHCR, FES, MoFA (Bangladesh), and various Embassies. Her hobbies include photography, writing, and community involvement. Shukanna considers UNYSAB to be one of the finest organisations in this country. Being an avid learner, she says that she will do everything to help UNYSAB to contribute to society and promote the SDG Goals. She believes that one day UNYSAB will reach every corner of Bangladesh and promote Leadership through Volunteerism.

Kazi Saifuddin Mihrab is a member of the UNYSAB 13 batch who joined in 2020. Currently, he serves as the Communication Secretary (External Affairs) for UNYSAB. He is currently pursuing his studies at Government Titumir College. He has a keen interest in management and is always eager to learn new things about it. In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket. Besides his professional and personal interests, Kazi Saifuddin Mihrab is deeply committed to positively impacting society. He firmly believes that helping others is the greatest good one can do, and he strives to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Kazi Saifuddin Mihrab aspires to make the dreams of helpless individuals come true through timely realization. Tabassum Elahi started her journey with UNYSAB in 2020 as a 13th-batch member. It was the first non-profit organization she joined, and she claims UNYSAB immensely helped her become more expressive and strengthened her sense of giving back to the community. She had the honor of receiving the ‘Member of the Year’ for two consecutive years before taking the Internal Communication Secretary position at UNYSAB. Tabassum strongly believes in equity and compassion. She is an extremely hardworking and diligent person, who thinks anything is achievable if given the best efforts. Currently, Tabassum is a 3rd-year student of International Relations at the University of Dhaka. She organized, participated, and volunteered in various national and international events, programs, and seminars. She is also a co-lead of the Foreign Policy Network at the Youth Policy Forum. Apart from extracurricular activities, she excels in her academics as well. UNYSAB is more than an organization to Tabassum – it’s her comfort zone, a kind community, a learning ground, and a platform with vast opportunities. Sakib joined UNYSAB in 2022 and is now working as an assistant communication secretary(Internal) of the executive board. He is currently a third-year criminology student at the University of Dhaka. From the beginning of his university life he has been serving several volunteering organizations to contribute to society also with a desire to make a difference in social work and a passion for working in the research and development sector, his objective is to nurture an intellectual personality that will facilitate him to influence social changes, and he is also passionate about learning new knowledge and experience. He has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, also the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and the ability to work in a team and be flexible in different situations. Through the UNYSAB he served as a Campus Ambassador on behalf of the university of Dhaka, Shadow Youth Parliament in 2021, and as an organizer of Shadow Youth Parliament 2022 and also worked in the organizing team at National Youth Summit 2022.

Samin Mohtadi is currently serving as the Assistant Secretary of Operations in UNYSAB. He has completed his HSC in 2022 from BAF Shaheen College Dhaka and SSC in 2020 from Adamjee Cantonment Public School. He has a interest in volunteering and participating in different youth based events. Samin joined UNYSAB in 2019 and has been a very dedicated member since then. He has been involved in organizing many events such as Eid for Street Children, Shadow Youth Parliament, National Youth Summit etc. His leadership skills has allowed to successfully solve many problems and challenges, resulting in smoother operations. We believe that he can leverage his leadership skills and dedication to create a positive impact in the society. Apart from that, he has also completed DELF B1 (Diploma in French Language Studies). Shoishob Chondro Mohonto started his journey with UNYSAB in 2021. Since then, he has been an active member and is currently acting as the Media & Documentation Secretary of UNYSAB. He is serving UNYSAB by doing voluntary works, photography & Graphic designing tasks ,making documentations. Shoishob Chondro Mohonto is studying BSc. in Computer Science & Engineering in Dhaka International University. Beside study, he develops Apps and has a huge interest in software Engineering. And also he is working as a Senior Photographer & Videographer in their own Corporate Media Farm founded by his Father Bakul Chondro Mohonto. He likes traveling & photography. His dream hobby is to become a wild life photographer & make his own personal wildlife album. Above these, Shoishob Chondro Mohonto is an animal rescuer and he started rescuing since he was kid. His Family always supported him in this work. He tries to rescue the sick animals & do treatment until they get well. Than find new shelters for their better life. He takes care of a local dog & two cats inside his home he rescued before Covid Lockdown.

Ridma adnin joined UNYSAB in 2021 as an associate member and currently serves as a assistant cultural affairs secretary of the executive board. She passed her high school degree(HSC) in 2022 from Udayan Higher Secondary school and college, Dhaka university campus. Now she is looking forward to do her bachelor’s degree from TAFE Australia in Early Childhood Education(ECE). She is passionate about music and singing,also keeps a great interest in cooking. She likes to spend her free time listening to music or reading YA novels. She learned singing from a young age at Azimpur ladies club and chhayanaut. She holds some experience on anchoring too, as she anchored few debate programs at BTV and on academic functions. Through UNYSAB, she worked as a volunteer in National Youth summit 2022 and in Bangladesh Business summit 2023 as team member of ministry of foreign affairs. UNYSAB holds a great emotional place for her as this is the first voluntary organization she started working actively. Although she is a cultural affairs secretary,she also worked and likes to work on other departments such as conference management team,operation team and communication team.

Md. Rose Islam is the regional secretary of the United Nations Youth & Students Association of Bangladesh, Rangpur Division, who has expertise with volunteering, public speaking, and program organizing. He recently obtained his MBA in marketing from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. As a member, his UNYSAB experience began in 2018. He took part in RIMUN2018 both as a delegate and an organizer. He had the opportunity to grow as a UNYSABIAN through the organization of initiatives like “Eid for Street Children,” “Dream Orange,” and “Fund Raising for Flood Affected People,” which helped society as a whole. He was chosen to be a member of the Executive Committee in 2019 and received “Best Organizer” awards. He was chosen as the regional secretary in 2022 and planned workshops and seminars for UNYSAB members to help them strengthen their skills. Anik Chandro Shill is a student pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Management studies at the University of Rajshahi. He has practical knowledge of human resource management and has a keen interest in the supply chain of FMCG products. He has shown leadership and planning abilities in both academic and professional events. Anik Chandro Shill is also the Regional Secretary of UNYSAB Bangladesh, Rajshahi Division, and aims to empower youth and students in Rajshahi by highlighting their voices and doing something innovative.

Jahidul Islam is an individual who has actively engaged in a variety of activity and organizations. With more than five years of experience in UNYSAB, he has actively participated in almost all the program of this organization. Currently serving as a regional secretary of the Barisal divisional wing, Jahidul has also been involved in various other organizations, including the Hult Prize as Campus Director, administration wing representative at PSTU business club, and some other volunteer organizations. Aside from his professional interests, Jahidul enjoys photography and traveling. His commitment to social issues and making a positive impact in his community is reflected in his involvement in social programs such as “Eid for Street Children” or “winter cloth distribution”. As a regional secretary, Jahidul takes his responsibilities seriously and strives to make a difference in his organization.
