On 12th August 2017, UNYSA Bangladesh organized a tree plantation program as a part of the celebration of International Youth Day in Bangladesh. This year the theme of International Youth Day was ‘Youth building Peace”. UNYSAB, as a part of renewing its responsibility toward nature and building sustainable peace, organized the program at the compound of two schools and a college, respectively, Azimpur Govt. Girls High School, Viqarunnisa Noon High School (Azimpur Branch) and New Model Degree College, Dhaka.

The objective of the event was to educate the students about the importance of climate change and create awareness about nature which is an integral part of sustainable development, and peace. Mehedi Hasan, Nawrin Jahan, and some other UNYSAB members led the campaign.
