United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh’s campaign to provide emergency relief for the Rohingya Muslims has been launched on September 29 with a human chain organized at the symbol of the struggle against terrorism Raju Sculpture of the University of Dhaka.
The human chain was organized to express solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar and to denounce the persecution which is referred to the world as a textbook example of ethnic cleansing by UNHRC. The Rohingya Emergency Relief campaign would continue for next one week and would include crowdfunding from the University of Dhaka, and through mobile banking systems. On September 30, a team of volunteers would collect money from the University of Dhaka. Collection of relief goods would continue till October 4 through mobile banking systems. On October 5, a team of UNYSAB volunteers would leave for Cox’s Bazar to distribute the relief among the Rohingya Muslims.
